Fire protection Valves are used to block the penetration of a fire in manual and automatic mode on the duct system, air shafts and air ducts of ventilation systems. Fire retarding valves protect openings in the buildings of industrial use.

By construction, fire retarding valves - is a special case with box-shaped rotor blades. These blades are installed in bearings and are connected by mechanical leverage system. Installation the fire retarding valve in an open operating position is making by turning the blades with a special handle leverage. The system is fixed due to the thermal lock. In the thermal lock there is a fusible insert. The temperature of activation and insert melting is 72 ± 5°C. Valve manual control produced with the help of a rope that is attached to the handle. The fire protection of valve is made by using a thick filling of heat insulating material in rotor blades. A fire retardant coating that is applied on the surface of the valve is treated at the blades of vanes. For a complete fire protection of external cavities, the valve is laid by fire-retardant mineral wool.

Check valve in the ventilation system

Installation of a check valve in industrial fans does not normally apply in the case of large excesses, overspending heat in serviced rooms and buildings. Industrial fans and heaters are connected with channels of the duct system usually without using flexible hoses.

Smoke exhaust valves are installed in ducts and shafts of smoke removal near the ceiling of the building. If necessary, for decorating the holes of smoke exhaust, smoke dampers are installed with special fencing and decorative metal grille. The correctly installed smoke dampers should work unimpeded and open inside the smoke exhaust channel.

Fire dampers prevent the spread of fire and products of combustion through the system of ventilation. Fire dampers are made of fire-resistant zinced steel and have a high impermeability. Fire retarding valves are equipped with electromagnetic or electromechanical actuator with spring return or with reversible electromechanical actuator without spring return.

Ventilation valve and its function

Vent check valve is used to prevent reverse flow of air in ducts, ventilation and air conditioning systems. The return valve can be round, square, rectangular - shaped by duct in the ventilation channel. Check valve is usually installed and mounted in horizontally or vertically duct. The air flow in this channel should be directed upwards. Check valve and the fire damper are also needed to prevent air flow to the switched off fan and from the duct of rectangular cross-section

Smoke exhaust valves, function and field of application

Smoke exhaust ventilation valve is designed for use in air supply and smoke exhaust ventilation systems of buildings and constructions of various purposes. Smoke exhaust valves can be used as normally closed fire dampers.

Smoke exhaust valves are installed in the building envelope openings, floors or ceilings, as well as on the branches of the flue duct or air supply channels. Smoke exhaust valves are made of steel CT3 followed by painting, or at the customer's request, made of galvanized steel. Smoke exhaust valves are produced in the wall or channel excecution and can be installed in vertical and horizontal openings. Smoke exhaust valves are operational in any spatial orientation.
